Common questions
- If the dumpster sits on your own driveway or private property, no permit is needed. If it has to go in the street or public right-of-way, most Columbus-area cities require a temporary right-of-way permit. We tell you whether you need one for your address and help you file it — just ask dispatch when you book.
- We lay protective boards under every container before it touches your surface, and our drivers place bins gently and level. We have placed 40,000+ bins without a claim. If our drop ever damages your driveway, our driveway-protection promise means we make it right.
- Included rental windows are 7 days on the 10- and 15-yard, 10 days on the 20- and 30-yard, and 14 days on the 40-yard. Need it longer? Extra days are a flat daily rate quoted up front — just call before your pickup date and we will extend it.
- Each size includes a weight allowance (2–6 tons). If a load weighs more, the overage is a flat per-ton rate ($65–$75/ton depending on size) charged on the actual certified scale ticket — never an estimate. Heavy material like concrete, dirt, and shingles fills the weight allowance long before it fills the bin, so we will steer you to the right size up front.
- Load it level with the top rail — nothing above the walls. An overfilled bin can’t be hauled safely or legally, so the driver may ask you to remove the excess. Distribute weight evenly and keep heavy material on the bottom.
